Manchester United are set to sign Ajax goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar as they look to improve their output between the sticks.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Manchester United are on the verge of signing Ten Rouwelaar from Ajax this summer, as per The Athletic. Described as a modern goalkeeping coach, he will be working exclusively with the Red Devils' first-team goalkeepers Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton.

    Ten Rouwelaar spent last season with Burnley, where he helped to implement Vincent Kompany's desire for James Trafford and Arijanet Muric to play out from the back. At the end of the campaign, he made the move to Ajax but Manchester United are now set to drum up a compensation package with the Dutch club and a deal is expected to be agreed upon for Ten Rouwelaar's move.
